The Brief:
Design a piece of wearable technology for people living with dementia, which helps them continue to live an independent life after diagnosis.
The Concept:
Taptix was the name given to this product which was a wearble watch that helps with dementia. The concept here was that the device doubles as a watch and a memory aid by sending reminders to the watch with a simple double tap to confirm the notification or a single tap to switch back to a watch. This was to keep it simple enough to use and as a watch it wouldn't make the wearer feel like they are standing out as having dementia by wearing it.
